Subito dopo si partir\u00e0 a bordo di speciali mezzi 4x4. Il percorso prevede il passaggio lungo la strada panoramica del versante nord dell'Etna, attraverso antichi crateri e recenti colate di lava, fino ad una quota di 2960 mt. Successivamente inizier\u00e0 l'ascesa di <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">3km<\/span><\/strong> a piedi su sentiero costituito da bombe e scorie vulcaniche. \u00a0Il dislivello da coprire in salita sar\u00e0 di <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">330 metri<\/span><\/strong> fino al raggiungimento del vero <strong>Cratere Centrale dell'Etna,<\/strong> ad una quota di 3300 mt, durante la salita si effettueranno delle pause (per spiegazioni e di ristoro). Una volta in vetta, sostiamo ad ammirare la grandezza e l'unicit\u00e0 dell'ambiente vulcanico, i processi ad esso connessi e lo spettacolo della vista dal <strong>tetto di Sicilia\u00a0<\/strong>(la visibilit\u00e0 pu\u00f2 variare in funzione delle condizioni meteo o vulcaniche). La discesa di <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">2km<\/span> <\/strong>si effettuer\u00e0 lungo lo stesso percorso adottato in salita, solamente l'ultimo tratto si effettuer\u00e0 all'interno di piccoli canali costituiti da tenere e friabili scorie vulcaniche, sul quale si riesce a camminare agevolmente senza grossi problemi adottando i dovuti accorgimenti. Il percorso prevede il passaggio lungo la strada panoramica del versante nord dell'Etna, attraverso antichi crateri e recenti colate di lava, fino ad una quota di 2960 mt.
