Ascent along the panoramic road of Etna North, surrounded by craters and breathtaking views, up to an altitude of 2900 m.

Approach Trek

Walking on Lava

4 km hike with 150 m of positive elevation gain, walking on the lava flows of the 2024 eruption.

Observation

The Active Flow

Arrival at the effusive vent to observe the activity up close and take photographs.

Return

Trek and Bus

4 km return walk to an altitude of 2900 m, followed by a bus descent to Piano Provenzana.
